The HCP Platform will undergo critical database maintenance on 20 January 2026 from 20:00 to 23:00 UTC. Services may experience increased latency or brief interruptions during this period. At approximately 21:30 UTC, a full outage of no more than 5 minutes will occur.
During this maintenance window, the following services and functionalities will be impacted. The most significant impact will be at approximately 21:30 UTC for about five minutes:
HCP Waypoint: It will not be possible to create, view, or update Waypoint resources, such as Templates, Apps, Add-ons, and Actions.
HCP Terraform: Changes made to users, groups, and IAM policies will be delayed. Users may not be able to log in to HCP Terraform.
Billing: The ability to view or update billing information will be unavailable.
API and Authorization: APIs for organizations, projects, and resources will be inaccessible. All authorization checks across the platform will fail.
Notifications: Email notifications, including those for billing, will be delayed and will be delivered after the maintenance is complete.
